Aberystwyth can be approached by road either via the A487 from Machynlleth or via the A44 from Llanguring.
Clarach Bay can be reached from Bow Street via the B4572 to Llangorwen - follow sign to the Beach.
By rail - a regular service runs through the Mid-Wales countryside with connections from Shrewsbury via Birmingham. Upon arrival in Aberystwyth visitors may reach Clarach bay by taxi or by bus during the summer season.
